If you use the MX-3000 IR/RF Color Touchscreen Remote or the MX-3000 IR/RF Color Touchscreen Remote with Multizone RF Base Station and your remote control is constantly losing power or has died, you will appreciate this replacement battery. This Lithium Ion rechargeable battery comes from Universal Remote Control, the manufacturer of the MX-3000 remote control, so it specifically designed to replace your existing battery. Note: This MX-3000 Replacement Battery is Version 3, and is to be used as a replacement battery for MX-3000 remote controls purchased after September of 2003; these remotes can be identified with a WHITE port plug. An MX-3000 replacement battery Version 1 is also available for MX-3000 remote controls purchased prior to September of 2003, these remotes can be identified with a YELLOW port plug.
