One-Button Activity ActionThe MX-900 Programmable IR/RF Remote Control uses activity-based menus for ease of control. Simply press the WATCH button to see a list of what you can watch on TV in your system. When you feel like listening to music, press the LISTEN button to reveal a list of what you can hear on your system. Once you make a selection, the remote's automation takes over and completely reconfigures your system to watch or listen to the selected choice.
40-Device Remote Sends Signals Through WallsThe Genesis is equipped with a bright, easy-to-read LCD screen, which can be customized for your system. The screen labels the six hard buttons, and up to 40 devices can be controlled using up to 40 pages per device. By taking advantage of this universal remote control's RF capability, you'll have more flexibility in the placement of your components. The MX-900 Programmable IR/RF Remote Control sends your commands via both infrared and radio-frequency signals. The RF signals travel through walls and doors, so you can keep your components in a cabinet or even in another room. To take advantage of this feature, you'll need an RF base station. Choose the MRF-250 Single Zone Base Station with its integrated antenna, which provides up to 100 feet of range for any single zone of your home or for a standalone system. If your home has multiple A/V zones, use the MRF-300 Multi-Zone Base Station, which allows up to three separate antenna locations throughout your home. The base stations' antennas direct your commands to your components. The base stations are sold separately or you can purchase a kit that includes the MRF-250 Single Zone Base Station or the MRF-300 Multi Zone Base Station.
PC ProgrammableCustomize the universal remote control using free downloadable software. Just connect the remote to your PC with the included USB cord for easy programming.
More Expansive Remote AvailableHave more than 40 devices in your home? Ideal for use as a master remote for large, complex systems or even for homes with secondary systems in various rooms, the Aurora universal remote can control up to 255 devices by sending both IR and RF signals.
