With automatic tuning and a noise reduction transmission system, the headphones offer crisp, clear transmission over one of three 900MHz wireless channels for optimum signal reception. They're also incredibly convenient, thanks to the built-in Nickel-Metal Hydride battery that automatically charges when the headphones are kept in the included charging cradle. And because the headphones automatically power on when placed on your head, and off when removed, you won't have to worry about draining the battery. Altogether you'll be able to enjoy up to 14 hours (up to 22 hours on alkaline AAA batteries) of continuous use per charge.
The headphones are constructed with 40mm drivers — larger than most other portable headphones for lower distortion, wider dynamic range and deeper bass down to 10Hz. PET diaphragms ensure high rigidity for minimum distortion and low mass for excellent high-frequency response, while ferrite magnets combine high energy and small size for ample sound output.
Built with a double headband, with a self-adjusting mechanism that conforms to the curve of your head, these headphones are extremely comfortable, and remain that way, even during extended listening sessions. They weigh a scant 10.6 ounces (300g), and that's including the battery. They also feature a rotary-type volume control for easy, convenient adjustment. The transmitter base measures 8 5/8" x 4 1/4" x 3 7/8" (216 x 105 x 96cm) and weighs 7 3/4 ounces (220g). System includes headphones, transmitter base, a 3-ft. connecting cord that connects to the stereo or TV, a UniMatch® plug adapter and AC power supply.
