Emergency Alert System Is a Tiny SpeakerphoneUnlike pre-recorded emergency dialers, the Guardian Alert 911 is a tiny cordless speakerphone that lets you speak directly to a 911 operator with the press of a button. Wear it around your neck on the included lanyard, clip it to your belt, or keep it in a pocket. The system can operate anywhere in and around your home by triggering the base station that's plugged into a phone jack. A telephone line splitter is included in case you need to use a single phone jack for both the base unit and a conventional phone.
NotesThe pendant is splash resistant and may be worn in the shower or bath, but it should not be completely submerged. The Guardian Alert is the only Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) that has been approved by the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) to dial 911 directly in all 50 states.
