By connecting a digital video recorder to your surveillance cameras, you'll eliminate the need to maintain a constant eye on your property. With a built-in upgradeable 80GB hard drive, the 5.6-Inch TFT LCD Color Monitor/4-Channel DVR can function as a standalone digital video recorder or can connect to the Internet for remote access to images from up to four cameras, with synchronized audio from one. Its built-in high-resolution color monitor is a 5.6-inch TFT LCD for local viewing without connecting to a television. This kit includes 4 color cameras that can capture images in complete darkness.

Using MPEG-4 compression for high-speed network transmission and better storage rates, the 5.6-Inch TFT LCD Color Monitor/4-Channel DVR can record 4 channels at 7.5 fps per channel. View playback on a quad display on the monitor, which also shows the date and time.
The 5.6-Inch TFT LCD Color Monitor/4-Channel DVR supports multiple recording modes. Schedule recording at specific times, record manually, or set the device to record upon motion detection or an event. The DVR has a 4-channel external alarm input, and video motion detection offers programmable sensitivity and threshold settings — 192 configurable detection areas per channel.
Watch, play back and even configure your camera setup over the Internet. A built-in web server eliminates the need for special software installation. Additional features include two internal IDE ports for a maximum of two large-capacity hard disks.
The four weatherproof day/night cameras have 1/3" CCD color image sensors as well as 20 IR LEDs that turn on automatically in the dark to capture images even in complete darkness. Each camera is fitted with a short BNC fitting for connection to the DVR. An extra-long, 100-foot video/power cable is provided for each camera, as well.
If you already have surveillance cameras set up around your home or business, the 5.6-Inch TFT LCD Color Monitor/4-Channel DVR is also available to be purchased separately. If you prefer a larger monitor, 4-camera DVR kits are also available with 14-inch and 21-inch monitors.
