Essential Info
If you use the code-free Freedom Security Kit w/Control Panel for wireless home security, you can expand this system in order to arm and disarm it when you enter and exit through your garage. The Freedom Garage Door Kit connects to your automated garage door and allows one-button arming and disarming. When the system senses the garage door motor, it will be in your desired status. The Freedom Security Kit w/Control Panel is sold separately and is required for using this expansion kit. This system requires a garage door magnetic contact, which is sold separately.

The microprocessor-controlled Freedom Garage Door Kit connects to your existing automatic garage door opener hardware, using information provided by a garage door magnetic contact (magnet and sensor), the included garage motor sensor (which connects to the garage door opener power cord), and the keypad's built-in PIR motion sensor, ensuring foolproof operation.
The built-in UL PIR motion sensor triggers the 85dB interior siren in the armed mode, and you can even connect the Freedom Security Kit w/Control Panel to your phone line to call two phone numbers upon a breach.
Does your home have two garage doors? Link this kit with the Freedom Garage Motor Sensor for dual monitoring. Also available to be purchased separately, the Freedom Bedroom Touchpad wires in to the main controller for arming the system when you go to sleep at night. Up to two touchpads can be used with each system.
The Freedom Garage Door Kit is compatible with Gemini security systems.
