Essential Info
If you use the code-free Freedom Security Kit w/Control Panel for wireless home security, you can expand this system in order to use a second deadlocked door for entry and exit. The Freedom 2nd Door Add-On Kit w/Keypad works just like the original Freedom keypad, connecting to your door's deadlock and allowing one-button arming and disarming. When the system registers the locked or unlocked door, it will be in your desired status. The Freedom Security Kit w/Control Panel is sold separately and is required for using this expansion kit.

The Freedom 2nd Door Add-On Kit w/Keypad connects to your door's existing deadbolt through an easy-to-install wireless lock interface with deadbolt tab, and it supports standard deadbolt locks. The lock sensor simply wires to the deadbolt tab insert and then wirelessly transmits to the included touchpad's built-in receiver. Each touchpad can receive and display the lock status for two doors.
The built-in UL PIR motion sensor triggers the 95dB interior siren in the armed mode.
You can also expand the Freedom Security Kit w/Control Panel by connecting your garage door. The Freedom Garage Door Kit wires to the system and arms and disarms the system when triggered. A Freedom Bedroom Touchpad is also available for arming the system when you go to sleep at night. Up to two touchpads can be used with each system.
