To operate the Panic Transmitter, simply press the extra-large "soft touch" button momentarily (an LED offers visual confirmation that the transmitter has been activated). When the button is pressed, the unit transmits its signal to the central monitoring station, where service personnel will be dispatched to the home. If more than one transmitter is needed, the system supports the ability to map a transmitter directly to a specific zone.
This convenient, worry-free device is completely waterproof, and can be worn in and out of water. It can also be installed under a desk or table for covert signaling! The transmitter runs on two 386 1.5V watch batteries, which can be replaced when the LED indicates a low battery warning. It's recommended you change the batteries every 5 years.
