Essential Info
The United Security Products BP-33 Rugged Aluminum Wide Gap Overhead Contact is designed for use on industrial or residential overhead doors, such as garage doors. The BP3-A is also ideal for any other large or loose-fitting doors. The switch is contained in an aluminum casting and secured with a high grade epoxy seal. The premium Alnico 5 magnet is contained in a plastic casting and secured with the same high grade epoxy seal. An aluminum "L" bracket is provided with the magnet allowing adjustable mounting of the spacing between the switch and magnet. The wiring of the switch is protected in a flexible stainless steel tube. The BP33-A switches are completely waterproof and hermetically sealed, therefore allowing them to be used in all exposed applications.
