Essential Info
This Network Video Server will breathe new life into an existing analog surveillance camera. Connect a BNC video feed and plug into your network, and you can now stream video (H.264 and MJPEG) over the internet. There's a video out BNC connection for live viewing on a monitor. The included XNET software can activate an event trigger upon detecting motion. Install an SD card up to 4GB for local storage of pre- or post-alarm events. Supports PoE to simplify camera installation. There are an audio input and output for two-way voice communication if desired. Use the alarm input to activate the server and camera, or use the alarm output to trigger an external alarm device upon detecting motion. Five LEDs indicate the status of the server: proper network connection, proper XNET connection, video loss, events, and power. Use the included RS-485 connection to pass pan/tilt commands. Flexible power options: use either 12VDC or PoE. WARNING: Do not plug in both PoE and 12VDC power simultaneously. Doing so will damage the server, voiding its warranty.
