Essential Info
This Network Video Server is designed for use with weatherproof outdoor cameras. The housing design mates perfectly with the base of most cameras' mounting brackets for a seamless look. Connect a BNC video feed and plug into your network, and you can now stream video (H.264 and MJPEG) over the internet. There's a video out BNC connection for live viewing on a monitor. The included XNET software can activate an event trigger upon detecting motion and many other functions. An internal 32MB memory and optional SD card up to 4GB provide local storage of pre- or post-alarm events. Supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) to simplify camera installation. There are audio input and output jacks for two-way voice communication if desired. Use the alarm input to activate the server and camera, or use the alarm output to trigger an external alarm device upon detecting motion. Use the included RS-485 connection to pass pan/tilt commands. Flexible power options: use either 12VDC or PoE. WARNING: Do not plug in both PoE and 12VDC power simultaneously. Doing so will damage the server, voiding its warranty.
