The GE Security 80-860-4 is an excellent place to start a home security system. This complete kit is a full-featured wired and wireless system for intrusion and fire detection. This basic kit includes the components to get your system started, and is fully expandable with GE's line of home security sensors (available separately). The system supports up to 96 wireless zones and the panel comes standard with eight hardwire zone inputs, of which one can be set up as a 2-wire smoke detector loop that can handle up to 10 detectors. Two built-in output points can be set up to activate external devices during an alarm or other system event.

The ATP1000 is a stylish control panel that allows you easy control over your home security functions. If features a large 2X16 liquid crystal display with adjustable contrast and brightness. A swing-down, removable door protects an alphanumeric keypad with police, fire, and auxiliary panic buttons. Allows for on-site installer programming.
