Essential Info
The Aleph America DC-4811 Wide Gap Overhead Contacts are designed for use on industrial or residential overhead doors, such as garage doors, and is also ideal for use on any other large or loose-fitting door. The switch is contained in an aluminum casting and secured with a high grade epoxy seal. The premium magnet is contained in aluminum and secured with the same high grade epoxy seal. The shape of the switch housing is designed to fit normal overhead door tracks up to 3" wide, and the magnet has 45° and 90° mounting provisions to interface with standard doors. An aluminum "L" bracket is provided with the switch allowing adjustable mounting of the spacing between the switch and magnet. The wiring of the switch is protected in flexible stainless steel armor. The DC-4811 switch is completely waterproof and hermetically sealed, therefore allowing it to be used in all exposed applications.
