The Calrad Electronics plastic double gang hood is designed for post or retrofit cable installations as well as for cables with large connectors. The lower portion of this bulk wire wall plate is removable so you can install the plate after the cables have been installed or connected. This retrofit plate is reversible so you can have the scoop inside or outside of the wall to suit a variety of needs. The Double Gang Wall Plate is designed to work with the Calrad Double Gang Plastic Mount Plate, sold separately.

This plate mounts flush to your wall, with a recessed opening that sends a/v cables, data lines and phone lines inside the wall and out of sight. Once inside your wall the cables can be run to your entertainment cabinet, entertainment center, equipment rack/closet, computer or other location that will complete the connection. Using this wall plate will make for an easy, clean way to access cables and finish the connection and installation.
