The Calrad 40-DCT-9 Universal Analog / Digital / Optical Audio Switcher is a comprehensive device that allows you many different options when connecting various audio formats between components. This component can handle three different types of bi-directional input and outputs, these include Analog (RCA L/R), Digital (RCA Coaxial) and Optical (S/PDIF TOSLINK). It can convert all three signals into the desired format. Analog audio signals can be converted into Digital and Digital audio signals can be converted into analog; all of which can be done simultaneously without signal loss. The switcher is the perfect tool for matching up audio connection on components with different audio inputs. This audio converter features a compact, elegant design that easy and convenient to use.
