The Calrad 40-40VH02 Adapter provides a simple and convenient way to allow PC or laptop users to show their images on a high-definition television (HDTV) display via an HDMI connection. Additionally, this converter allows the audio to pass through the HDMI connection so you can enjoy stereo audio as well. Simply connect the VGA output and 3.5mm audio output from your PC or laptop to the VGA and Audio inputs on the converter - then connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI output on the converter to your HDTV and plug the power supply to the converter in - that's it! Not only is this great for viewing your PC or laptop on a larger display, but it is great for use in presentations, training environments and schools.

Please Note: This product converts the VGA signal to HDMI at the resolution of the VGA video source. If the VGA source is set to 480i, 720p, 1080i or 1080p, then it will convert to HDMI at the same corresponding resolution. It also important to make sure that the HDMI driven display, HDTV or monitor is compatible with the source VGA resolutions.
