With its 1.82-inch deep threaded body, this IR receiver tube allows your DVD player, surround sound and other audio/video equipment to stay out of sight. The small unit will stay inconspicuous, allowing you to maintain a clean and streamlined look for your home entertainment system. A blue LED flashes to let you know that it received the signals sent from the universal remote. And with its wide-band IR capabilities, this tube can receive IR signals from many types of remotes. Installation only takes a few minutes! Simply drill a 17mm hole, insert the tube, and plug it into the IR distribution block.

To complete an IR system using this receiver, kit you will need to add either a 2-Port or 6-Port IR Connecting Block, and the corresponding single or dual IR flashing emitters; connecting block and emitters each sold separately.
