Keep your home theater equipment hidden and out of the way without compromising its operation or integrity. With this injector and coupler, you can send IR signals sent out by a standard IR remote to other devices over a single coax cable. Whether your equipment is out of sight behind solid, wooden doors or walls, you can be sure they will receive the desired commands.

To complete this kit you will need to add either one or two (there are two ports) single or dual IR flashing emitters, and an IR receiver, available in a in-wall tube style receiver, QuickPort/Keystone/Snap-in style receiver, surface mount receiver or a Decora-style receiver; emitters and receivers each sold separately.

The IR remote sends a signal to the receiver, which passes it to the coupler. The coupler then forwards that signal up to 300 feet over coax cable to the injector. When the injector receives the signal it will forward the command to an IR emitter to control the component. Communications are sent and received in a split second, so you won't experience any delay when you add this injector/coupler to your existing system. The system requires a 12Volt DC power adapter, sold separately.
