The Calrad Electronics Gold Designer Speaker Binding Post is perfect for single channel outputs (L+R), A+B (L+R) or 5.1, 7.1 surround sound speaker distribution. Works with single or dual male banana plugs or binding post termination and accepts up to 14 AWG cable. Easy color coded speaker polarity markings (red/black) with solderless wire termination. This insert completes a professional looking installation of your audio components in your home or office with the use of a Decora-style wall plate, sold separately.

Installing in-wall or in-ceiling stereo speakers requires running speaker cable through your walls to the ultimate speaker locations. But that doesn't mean there needs to be an unsightly hole in the wall behind your stereo. By installing the 2-Post Speaker Tap, you'll be able to send your connector from your audio output to a decorator-style wall outlet with two receptacles for your stereo speaker cables.
