Most dummy cameras are unrealistic in appearance but the Motion-Sensing Dummy Camera has a built in motion sensor that, when activated, triggers the scanner motor and activates the flashing light simulating a real motion sensor cam. This camera is an easy, cost-effective way to help prevent crime at your home, office or retail location. Requires 2 AA batteries (sold separately).

THE CAMERA'S OPERATE ONLY WHEN THERE'S A VERY BRIGHT ROOM OR A LIGHT IS TURNED ON, HENCE IF ANYONE ENTERS A NOT-BRIGHT ENTRY WAY IT DOESN'T MOVE.

Looks like a real camera. Motion sensor works well. The movement of the camera, scanning the environment nearby, should make any potential intruder think twice before proceeding.

This is great, but there's one problem: They are getting so popular that most burglars recognize these! I have seen them everyplace! Most intruders surf the web to learn what's fake and what's not. These are all over the web!

These are the best value in home protection as Video scares people the most. These function much better than real cameras the way it pans&tilts towards the offender and the "recording" light and fake cablw make it impossible to detect as fake. I have and ADT alarm sign in my front and back yards as well as window stickers indicating the property is under video surveilance. So for as little as $50-$100 ( 2 or four cameras)you have the trappings of a multi-thousand dollar video/alarm system. They say just yard signs alone deter over 47% of criminals. THis setup raises it towards the upper 90 percentile.
