Essential Info

Many common household and portable electronics require the use of a 9-Volt Alkaline Battery for operation. This battery eliminator is a plug-in power adapter that will remove the need and hassle of using and replacing costly batteries. It simply snaps together with the 9-Volt battery connection on your electronic device and the other end plugs into any standard wall outlet.

INSTEON Application
The Plug-In 9-Volt Power Supply will work with various electronic devices powered by a 9-Volt battery. It can also be used to power INSTEON Wireless Motion Sensoreliminating the cost and trouble of regularly replacing the battery. To install, just notch a small hole using a file or shear on the Motion Sensor battery door (for the power supply wire) and plug it in.

    I have now purchased 2 of these units, both actually provide 12V DC output.

    The company's service, shipping, etc were just fine. However the "9" volt power supply was putting out 14.2 volts. I also noticed that the electrical device does not show an Underwriter's Lab (UL) certification, nor does it show the country of manufacture or the manufactor's name. I haven't used it yet, as I am somewhat reluctant to chance overpowering my 9 volt transmitter.

    Useless and dangerous! It killed my motion detector because the output was at 13V. Plug was extremely hot. Don't waste your money.

    Have used this about two weeks now, hooked up to 3 ScareCrow motion activated impulse sprinklers. Wired them in series, used 9v battery connectors from Radio Shack, and plugged into a timer. Works great keeping deer out of the gardens, and now I don't have to go to each one to turn on & off; heck, with the timer I don't even have to remember to turn them on & off! Couldn't be happier! (except the shipping was a little steep & slow)

    I am satisfied with the customer service I received from your company, but the adapter still does not work. It must be a lack of communication between the sonic dog bark stopper and the adapter...It does say 9 volt alkaline battery only, so I guess I can't use it....I'll just keep it for some other use.....A.
