    How It Works
    The TV Volume Regulator features advanced digital signal processing that automatically adjusts the sound level from your A/V devices without introducing additional noise .It enables real-time re-mastering and provides consistent loudness and sound quality, by signal-sampling thousands of times per second. With a reaction time of only .002 seconds, even sudden loud noises and sound effects are adjusted. It also features noise reduction technology minimizes "hiss " present in audio, providing clearer, more audible sound during whispers or quiet scenes.

    Fast, Easy Hook-Up
    It easily hooks up using standard RCA (red and white) audio cables between any A/V device (a set-top box like a satellite receiver, cable box, or VCR) and your TV. Once installed, it operates automatically — no further adjustments are needed.

    It does work to a large degree, but sometimes if the incoming volume is very high, there's an annoying pop before it cuts the volume. I do prefer the pop to absurd music screaming at me though.

    It does work, but the volume often will decrease, and sometimes there is a snapping sound as it does so. At least we no longer get the obnoxious loud volume of commercials.

    This little thing saved my life. It works like a charm and there are no more annoying loud commercials or music themes. Unfortunately it does not come in HDMI sound version. That would have being the best.

    This item does what it says it does. Volume levels are controlled without distortion. It is very easy to install and once installed needs no adjustment.

    Even though a lot of reviews said that this item quit working after a couple of weeks I decided to give it a try. It worked for a couple of weeks. Smarthome replaced it and the new one has quit working also.

    I'm afraid this device is a farce. It doesn't not level the volume of our TV no matter what channel. I do have it connected correctly as well. I hoped the device would have regulator button so you could set the maximum for your own benefit. All this thing does is use up electricity.

    can't believe it can't be used with old tvs"without a jack panel in back I bought two volume regulators but can only use one.wish I knew in advance. "and was very disapointed to find we need two audio cables but only get one in pkg.too bad you don't tell us that up front so we can have them on hand when pkg arrives,or better yet just provide both of them.product seems to work ok,but I still get some louder commercials,and still dont quite hear the lower volume parts of movies as well as the rest of the program.

    I can hear it "click" and seems to lower volume but seemingly random times. It would help to have an explaination in the instructions as to how it is programed to work. I still find myself lowering volume for commercials and raising volume during programs when it seems to "click" in randomly. Basicly it is a P.O.S..
