The jacks are designed for data transmissions in 10/100 Base-T systems and are ideal for high-speed Internet access from cable and DSL modems. The Data/Telephone/Coax Wall Plate has clear, color-coded indicators, for installation without connection errors.
Includes 2 Coax OutletsThis wall plate makes a nice clean job of running both coax leads for satallite TV. Just knock out one or both openings (see rear view of wall plate) and install the included coax terminals.
To install your cat. 5e wire (sold separately), strip no more than 2 inches of jacket from the cable. Lay the wires down according to the color coding on the wall plate and seat them into the 110 punch down block, maintaining a wire pair twist to within half an inch of the connector. Use a punch-down tool to seat the wires fully and trim the excess flush with the connector.
The Data/Telephone/Coax Wall Plate is also available in ivory. Additional structured wire termination wall plates are also available, providing a fast, easy way to terminate all structured wire for data, telephone, video and control signals. The Dual Data Wall Plate provides two cat. 5 jacks, while the Data/Telephone Wall Plate provides a single cat. 5 RJ-45 and four RJ-25 telephone jacks. The Telephone/Coax Wall Plate offers four-line breakout for telephone and two knockouts for use with coax barrel connectors. All are available in white or ivory; choose whichever wall plate best suits your needs.
