The Intelix DIGI-HDMI-4X2 provides an easy-to-use, flexible and powerful solution for high-definition (HD) HDMI audio/video distribution applications. It features four HDMI inputs, two HDMI outputs and two twisted pair extender balun outputs that can be used simultaneously. The matrix supports 1080i and 1080p HD video and is HDMI 1.3b compliant. It can be controlled via a diagnostic front panel interface or remotely via the included infrared (IR) remote control or via an RS232 or ethernet connection. There are four pass-through IR channels which distribute remote IR commands from in-room controllers, through compatible Intelix twisted pair extenders, up to 150 feet over twisted pair cable, and out of the matrix, allowing complete control of remote sources from the destination. If you plan to centralize your home theater equipment and distribute HD audio and video thorough out your home, this matrix switcher offers professional-grade performance with comprehensive control options. Forget HDMI handshake issues, loss of audio, and video flickers. The DIGI-HDMI-4X2 features an HDMI 1.3b chipset, providing the most stable and uniform platform for HDMI sources and destinations. Plus, the matrix supports Deep Color and Lossless Digital Audio.
Built-in Twisted Pair Extenders
The DIGI-HDMI-4X2 features HDMI and twisted pair extender balun outputs. If the destinations are close, use the HDMI outputs. If the destinations are far away, use the twisted pair output(s) and compatible Intelix HDMI balun receiver(s), sold separately. In addition, the HDMI and twisted pair outputs are paralleled, allowing simultaneous use per channel.
Smart Negotiation
The DIGI-HDMI-4X2's on-board CPU automatically negotiates outputs with various resolutions, allowing multiple sized monitors from different manufacturers to be used simultaneously.
Enhanced Control
No matter what the application, the DIGI-HDMI-4X2 has you covered. The matrix features front panel control, Ethernet control, IR control, and RS232 control. In addition, the matrix ships with a wireless remote control.
Shelf-top or Rack-mountable
The DIGI-HDMI-4X2 includes bottom panel mounting feet for shelf-top applications and 19" rack ears for permanent rack installations.
IR Pass-through
Tired of third-party IR switchers and patch panels? When used in conjunction with an Intelix DIGI-HDMI-IR-R receiver, the DIGI-HDMI-4X2 matrix distributes remote IR commands over twisted pair cable, through the matrix, and out to local sources. This means the DIGI-HDMI-4X2 transmits IR signals from your remote destination back to the rack, switches them inside the matrix, and distributes them to your cable boxes, DVD player, or other local source device.
