Essential Info
Finally a fiber optic solution has arrived to allow you to send true HD signal from point to point between two HDMI connected devices. Owlink has devised the world's first 'invisible' transmission system through which audio and video can be transmitted in high quality HD. The transparent fiber optic cable can be run along the ceiling, the floor boards or up and down the walls without a trace. Because the fiber cable is no larger than 1/16" in diameter and the light that travels through it cannot be seen from the outside, there is no need to hide the A/V cabling by running it through the walls, ceilings, or under the house. Hours of installation time can be avoided simply by placing the cable in the room. No more tearing up the walls or ceilings or crawling through a tight attic space to pull cables from point to point.

Convenient IR Communication
In addition to sending audio and video through the single strand of transparent fiber cable, the Owlink HD Fiber Transmission System also allows you to transmit IR commands through the fiber cable with no interruption to the picture or sound. Aiming your standard IR remote control at the receiver will allow the transmitter to communicate the IR command back to the source, giving you complete remote control of the distant components.
Pre-terminated Fiber Cable
The included fiber optic cable is pre-terminated with optical couplings that snap right into the back the transmitter and receiver.
Because the signal travels through the fiber optic cable, the outside can be painted or patched over for aesthetic purposes.
Flexible Fiber Cable
The fiber cable is flexible enough to curve around sharp corners making it ideal for tight places or oddly shaped applications. As long as the fiber cable isn't kinked to the point that it is folded in half, light can transmit through it. The fiber cable can be looped into a circle with a circumference of less than 1" and still function properly. No more trying to bend those heavy copper cables or jam them into tight spaces.
