Essential Info
Higher frequencies lose signal strength faster than low frequencies as they are being transmitted through cable. Many signal amplifiers amplify low frequency signals more than high frequency signals. This in-line unit attenuates lower frequency signals to bring the signal strength across the frequency range back into balance. If you find that there is a difference in picture quality between low and high channels, you need a tilt compensator.
