This splitter/combiners allows 2-way combining or splitting of TV antenna or cable signals. The splitter is DC passive, which allows passage of low-voltage signals along the coax. The splitter is housed in a high-quality casting and finish. Inside each splitter/combiner, a quality PCB is mounted that contains the internal components. This Channel Plus 2-Way Splitter/Combiner features low insertion loss.

Accessories allow you to professionally complete your system. Use 75-Ohm Terminators on all signal outputs that are not connected to a television or VCR. Un-terminated outputs can cause a 'herringbone' pattern to appear on some channels of the other sets connected to the splitter. These slowly moving, wavy lines will drive you crazy and diminish the performance of the video system. If you are using the coax lines to carry DC signals (for power or Ir signals), use the DC IR Signal Block on output lines that connect directly to a TV set or VCR (and not to a camera or IR splitter). The DC Block will prevent the DC signals from being shorted inside the tuner of the TV or VCR.
