Essential Info
Audio professionals know how important proper connections can be when distributing audio through microphones, mixing boards, public address systems, and the like. But sending high-end cable over long distances can become extremely costly. The MonoPro XLR allows a standard AES analog or digital audio channel to be connected via inexpensive cat. 5 unshielded twisted pair cable (UTP) in the professional audio environment with no loss of quality. This balun features heavy-duty cable strain relief for rugged environments such as rental and staging. Baluns are used in pairs but sold separately.
