After a long day at the office, sometimes there's nothing better than sitting down in front of the tube and watching TV. That is, until the commercials blare on with enough volume to blow your hair back. But with this Automatic Volume Level Control module, everything you watch will ALWAYS maintain the volume level that you decide. Now you'll never have to scramble for the remote every time a commercial or loud scene comes on! Power supply sold separately (see Details & Specifications below).

This versatile system isn't only for TV. It regulates for volume discrepancies on ANY audio source, including radio stations, PA systems, even those 400-disc CD changers — that way you're not constantly running to the volume button every time it switches from a quiet disc to a loud one, and vice versa. The volume leveler is particularly convenient if you want to regulate the sound level of your whole-house audio system zones, where it may not be as easy to make volume adjustments.
With gold-plated inputs and outputs, as well as adjustable gain, this unit will absolutely maintain the high quality of the audio signal. Just connect it between any stereo or mono audio source and the amplifier input, or between your TV or VCR outputs and the inputs to your stereo tuner.
Don't Forget the Power Supply!
Because this volume leveler uses an uncommon power supply that may be difficult to find at stores, we recommend using one of the 24VDC power supplies listed below (each sold separately). Made by the same manufacturer as the volume leveler itself, these power supplies are fully UL-approved. If you plan on only using one volume leveler, use the 400mA version (#7796PS4). If you plan on powering one or more volume levelers, use the 1000mA version (#7796PS1).
