Essential Info
With all of today's modern entertainment options, living rooms tend to feature numerous components, interconnected and piled in a precarious stack, all designed to maintain your home entertainment options in a single location. Now you can eliminate the stack by combining all of your components into a single unit. The Motorola 5 x 100w Home Theater System is a fully integrated home entertainment system. Contained entirely within a convenient, space-saving design, Motorola's 5 x 100w Home Theater System combines an interactive digital cable receiver, a DVD/CD/MP3 player, a surround sound audio/video digital receiver with 100 watts per channel, and an AM/FM stereo receiver, all in a single unit. Use any or all of these features to create the entertainment setting to best suit your family's needs.

In less space and with plug-and-play installation, six space-hogging components are integrated into one streamlined and easy-to-use device. Enjoy hundreds of channels of digital programming, watch a video-on-demand movie or a pay-per-view event, plug in a game console or listen to digital music without the commercials. If that isn't enough, at a touch of a button, watch a DVD or listen to music from the radio or a CD.
Cable BoxThe digital cable box connects to the cable coming into your home and might be able to replace the one you rent from your cable company. This 50-860 MHz tuner supports clear analog, 64 and 256 QAM clear and encrypted digital cable services, including pay channels and pay-per-view movies, as provided by your cable subscription service. The digital cable receiver works with most cable providers; call your cable company to verify. If it works on yours, consider that a bonus. If not, you still have a great value on an excellent A/V receiver and DVD player!
Customer comments: This product was an excellent buy. I was looking for a new surround sound amp for my new home and ran on to this affordable solution by accident. I did however come to find out that my cable company does not support this particular product, but all the other feature still make this worth the price. - Lawrence, Ashland NC
This is great, it simplified everything for my wife. The bad part is that Comcast Cable thinks I'm stealing cable from them. It took 1 month to get Comcast to activate it, and it works great now, but every time I have to call them for anything they tell me I'm stealing cable, and they're going to turn me over to thier legal dept. By federal law, if you have a box that is compatible with a cable providers service, then they cannot force you to use the one they're trying to sell/rent to you. I was the first one in Michigan with one of these boxes on Comcast network, so hopefully it will be easier for everyone else. - Suchnsuch, Michigan
DVD - CD PlayerPlay DVDs, CDs, or even MP3-encoded audio discs from a single-disc tray in the Motorola Home Theater System. A universal remote is included, so you'll be able to control all of the system's features while keeping your coffee table uncluttered. And since the disc player is on the same chassis as the amplifier and connected directly to it, the sound is phenomenal!
Amplifier and ReceiverThe A/V receiver amplifier has high-performance Tripath Class-T amplifiers, delivering all five channels at 100 watts each. The unit supports Dolby® Digital, Pro-Logic® II and DTS® sound, as well as six modes of DSP sound effects. Enjoy home theater in surround sound at an incredible low price!
Motorola's Home Theater System connects easily to various audio and video inputs, as well as outputs to your television. Analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog audio converters make it possible to listen to almost any audio source through the unit; AM and FM tuners provide radio access, as well.
Finally, since it's built by Motorola, you know it's rugged and built to last.
