With the increase in popularity of high-definition televisions and accessory components that connect to them, such as DVD players, DVRs, and HD TiVo systems, it becomes increasingly frustrating to HDTV owners that only one device input is available. Connect up to six different HD components to your HDTV with the HD Signal AutoSelector DVI, which accepts component video and DVI source signals and converts all component video input signals to DVI. This feature allows your TV to receive input from all six HD sources on one input, so you never have to switch inputs on your TV. Add an HDMI adapter if your TV accepts HDMI inputs. The rack-mountable HD Signal AutoSelector DVI is designed so that it may be used straight out of the box; no customization is required. Connect six component and/or DVI video sources and connect the AutoSelector to your HDTV. When a new source is activated, the AutoSelector senses the new audio and/or video signal and switches its output to the desired source automatically. You can also use the front-panel buttons or the included IR remote control to select a source by overriding the auto-select feature. You may even use a third party IR or RS-232 remote control system.
Custom setup of source names, installer contact information, and firmware updates can be done quickly using your PC. Just save your custom settings on the included flash memory card and load it into the AutoSelector's memory card port.
Distribute your connected HD devices to every room in your home. Connect a HD Signal Cat. 5 Matrix Router to your HD Signal AutoSelector DVI, and you'll be able to access the connected components from any room using a cat. 5-connected wall plate (sold separately).
