Essential Info
The HDTV Signal Distribution Kit transmits crystal clear images to two rooms in your home over inexpensive cat. 5 wiring. If you wish to expand this system to include additional rooms, add a Wall Plate for HDTV Signal Distribution in each room to receive the service. A single Driver will transmit component video, digital audio, and stereo analog audio to two Wall Plates. Drivers are sold separately. An HDTV tuner is required to access high-definition signals and is sold separately.

The HDTV Signal Distribution Cat. 5 Driver distributes component video, digital audio, and stereo analog audio with astounding clarity and color fidelity up to 1000 feet from the source to the Wall Plate for HDTV Signal Distribution. The wall plates receive their power through the cat. 5 cabling, so there is no need for a power adapter at the wall plate.
Each wall plate will install easily in a standard dual-gang electrical box. Clearly labeled, color-coded, gold-plated YPbPr jacks on both the driver and wall plates ensure easy hookup and perfect signal transmission. A pass-through jack for cable, satellite or off-air antenna connections is provided for convenience. Each durable, stainless steel wall plate offers component video, digital audio and analog audio jacks.
Wall plates are normally placed on the wall behind the television sets or entertainment centers to be connected. Pull two runs of good-quality cat. 5, cat. 5e or cat. 6 UTP cable from the head-end location to each Wall Plate location; cables are sold separately.
If you've connected a third-party IR remote distribution network over the cat. 5 pathway, each new connected room will be able to access it, as well. IR receiver and emitter equipment is required for this feature and is sold separately.
