The HDTV Signal Distribution Kit transmits crystal clear images to two rooms in your home over inexpensive cat. 5 wiring. If you wish to expand this system to include additional rooms, add a Wall Plate for HDTV Signal Distribution in each room to receive the service. A single Cat. 5 Driver for HDTV Signal Distribution will transmit component video, digital audio, and stereo analog audio to two Wall Plates. Wall Plates are sold separately; if you're just getting started, the HDTV Signal Distribution Kit (sold separately) includes a Driver and two Wall Plates. An HDTV tuner is required to access high-definition signals and is sold separately.

The Cat. 5 Driver for HDTV Signal Distribution transmits HDTV signals with astounding clarity and color fidelity up to 1000 feet from the source. This driver distributes component video, digital audio, and stereo analog audio to up to two wall plates.
Connect component video and all audio connections desired from the source equipment to the inputs of the original Cat. 5 Driver for HDTV Signal Distribution. Connect the additional Cat. 5 Driver for HDTV Signal Distribution using the IR bus jacks and the bus kit included with the HDTV Signal Distribution Kit. The Cat. 5 Driver for HDTV Signal Distribution is powered by the included adapter.
You can also connect an IR remote control system input to the Cat. 5 Driver's IR output for a third-party IR remote distribution network over the cat. 5 pathway. By connecting an IR remote control system to the HDTV Signal Distribution system, you'll be able to control the source equipment from other rooms in the house. IR receiver and emitter equipment is required for this feature and is sold separately.
