The Enforcer Fail-Secure Electric Deadbolt can be used with your alarm system or through your intercom system to allow entry access control at the home or at the office. It can also be wired in with a digital keypad near the door to assure high security without the need for a key. The device has an open/close monitor that recognizes normally open (NO), closed (C), or normally closed (NC) status. An adjustable door lock delay timer will allow you to set the desired time in seconds before the door re-locks. A solenoid with automatically shut off if the door is not closed properly to prevent burning out. Fail-secure operation will lock the door if power is lost. This product requires a 12VDC Power Supply, sold separately.

Also available in a fail-safe version that unlocks when power is lost.

Note: This product is not recommended for wooden door frames. However, the door can be wood or metal.
