Essential Info
Use the SECO-LARM MAE-P115-01Q Enforcer Passive Analog RCA Audio Balun (in pairs) as the quick, low-cost way to connect audio devices at greater distances than traditional audio cabling methods. The audio balun is sold individually, but work in pairs to allow analog audio signals to be transmitted over low-cost Cat5 or Cat6 cable (each sold separately) instead of costly coax cable. Simply connect one gold-plated RCA connector to the output of an audio source component, one to the audio input of your receiver component, then wire a Cat5/6 cable to the terminal blocks of each. Used in pairs, these small transmitters will send signals up to 5,900 feet (1800m). Important Note: This product ships as a single balun, two baluns (a pair) and Cat 5 or Cat6 cable are required to complete a typical installation. One or two pairs of baluns are required depending on whether the application is for mono (one pair) or stereo audio (two pair).
