The SECO-LARM MVE-AH010Q Enforcer HDMI Balun/Extender allows you to use a two low-cost Cat5 or Cat6 cables (each sold separately) to transmit HDMI signals instead of heavier, less flexible and more expensive HDMI Cables. The MVE-AH020Q extends the range of traditional HDMI cabling methods by using an active transmitter and receiver to send video and audio over a single Cat5e/6. HDMI formats as large as 1080p can be transmitted up to 196 feet (60m) between the two units (transmitter and receiver) with zero signal loss by using integrated circuits in the receiver and transmitter.

For slightly less distance (up to 164 feet - 50 meters) or if you only want to use a single Cat5/6 cable, consider using the SECO-LARM MVE-AH020Q Enforcer HDMI Balun/Extender Over a Single Cat5e/6 Cable (sold separately).

Flexibility - Traditional HDMI cables present a number of challenges in long cable runs. HDMI cables are rigid in structure and fixed in length making them very difficult to use in some applications. By using Cat5e/6 to transmit HDMI signals, the length and route the wiring takes can now be determined on an application by application basis.

Signal Strength - Traditional HDMI cables have limitations on the signal strength they can provide over long distances. Using an active transmitter and receiver, the MVE-AH020Q overcomes these limitations by providing a clearer signal farther than HDMI cable alone.

Distance - The MVE-AH020Q is capable of providing a clear HDMI signal over much greater distances than HDMI cable alone. Using Cat6 cabling, a 1080p HDMI signal can be transmitted up to 164' (50m).

Formats Supported - The MVE-AH020Q supports both progressive scan and interlaced formats.

Plug and Play - The MVE-AH020Q comes as a complete set consisting of a transmitter and receiver. No adjustments or settings need to be made, the unit is ready to use right out of the box.

Zero Signal Loss - integrated circuits in the transmitter and receiver clean, buffer, and amplify the HDMI signal to prevent signal loss and ensure a clear signal regardless.

DVI Support - can be used with an HDMI to DVI adapter to support multiple components of a home theater system.
