By selecting the Knoll Analog IR components separately, you can build a custom IR system tailored to your AV application, without needing to purchase an entire kit. This plug-in component is to be used as the power source for Knoll Systems IR Receivers and Connection modules.
An IR signal is sent from your remote control, to a IR-100 tabletop receiver, IR210, IR220, IR230 or IR250 IR receiver. The receiver sends that signal to an IR54 in-wall connecting block or anIR55 table top connecting block which then distributes the signal to single or dual blinking emitters to remotely control up AV components located behind closed doors of a cabinet or closet, in a rack mount system or in another room.
Knoll Systems Analog Infrared (AIR) repeater components are designed to "relay" IR signals broadcast in remote rooms or areas to electronic components that respond to these IR commands. Most IR commands originate from hand-held remote controls. Knoll IR repeater systems relay these commands to the distant component. In line with Knoll's commitment to high performance, flexible and easy to install products, Knoll infrared repeater systems offer almost unlimited system control from any room to any audio/video component, from basic systems throughout even the most sophisticated installation.
Installation is simple, cost-effective and reliable. The Analog IR100, IR210, IR220, IR230 and IR250 infrared receivers can be mixed and matched in any system, with up to 10 receivers per system. The cutting edge styling of Knoll IR receivers and emitters, available in different colors and styles, compliment even the most elegant of installations. The Analog receivers can accept signals from up to 35 feet away, which suits most applications.
