If you have a TV, iPod, MP3 player, CD player, turntable or other audio device you want to play aloud in a large, open room or even in the backyard, this 2 Channel x 50 Watt Stereo Amplifier is the perfect solution. It takes line level signals from the outputs of these devices and amplifies them for direct connecting to speakers. It can even be added to your existing whole-home audio system as the stereo inputs are directly connected to the speaker outputs, so it works as a pass through connection; when your local audio device is powered up, the whole-home system will be overridden. Although you can manually power on this amplifier, it has a built-in sensor that will automatically turn on when a local audio/video device or the 12V trigger is activated; it will automatically turn off when the local device is shut off (unless the amp was turned on manually). This item is built to last, with circuitry that protects itself from overheating, overloading, overvoltage and undervoltage. It also has individual input gain adjustment to adjust each channel for gain and speaker sensitivity variations.
