With the included flexible mounting bracket, this HD antenna can be mounted on a wall, on a roof, or in an attic. A high-definition television with a built-in or set-top HD receiver is required and sold separately. Due to excessive weight, Smarthome will add a heavy-item shipping charge to this item. With reception capabilities equal to other antennas nearly twice its size, you'll experience exceptional reception characteristics from the Slim Profile HDTV Outdoor Antenna for high-band VHF and UHF channels 7-69. It is tunable for increased low-band VHF performance by rotating the antenna from the horizontal plane to the vertical plane, which makes the antenna more resonant in the low-band VHG with excellent reception characteristics in the 0-15 mile range. The antenna element rotation also assists in mitigating any co-channel interference issues.
Even with its highly compact directional VHF/UHF antenna design, the Slim Profile HDTV Outdoor Antenna will accommodate the reception of reflected signals: Important in urban areas, the Slim Profile HDTV Outdoor Antenna can be pointed at a building to receive reflected signals and will reject all other multi-path signals.
