The Enforcer Regulated 0.5 Amp Voltage Converter is the ideal solution for converting 12V or 24V AC or DC Power into regulated and filtered 5V, 12V, or 24V DC power. It creates low-voltage DC from different power sources and enables quick and efficient installation of DC security devices and audio/video (A/V) equipment. Retrofitting older camera systems that run on AC is now easier than ever. Installing the Voltage Converter at the camera end of each cable run allows DC cameras to easily replace other cameras running on AC. Another outstanding feature of this voltage converter is the ability to run AC over great distances before being converted into DC, minimizing voltage drop. Since AC has significantly less voltage drop over long cable runs, it can now be the preferred method of delivering power to a DC device located far from any other DC power source. Built-in overload protection and 1.0 Amp output current protection ensure that this converter is built to last. Other features of the ENFORCER Voltage Converter include a voltage selection jumper, a dual-colored power output LED, small size for cleaner and easier installation, and an included DC pigtail plug. If you don't need a full 1.0 Amp of output current protection, an Enforcer Regulated 0.5 Amp Voltage Converter is also available.
