Connect up to 16 security cameras to the 16-Channel DVR w/320GB, 480FPS, and you won't only be creating a history of the events around your home or business, you'll also be able to access the video from any Internet-connected computer whenever you desire, especially handy if the DVR sends an alert to up to your email address upon a security breach. Back up the recorded data manually or automatically to a DVD, CD or hard drive using the device's convenient connections. Cameras are sold separately.

With 16 cameras installed, you'll be able to monitor your entire property. Create virtual labels for each camera for easy recognition of each site. You can also specify the recording modes for each connected camera. Each will record when scheduled, upon detected motion, or manually, for the length of time you determine. Additional adjustable factors include motion detection sensitivity, picture quality for each camera, and whether each camera's audio is on or off. The recording speed can be adjusted as high as 480 frames per second.
View the cameras' live feed through a connected monitor (sold separately), watching a specific camera, sequencing through the individual cameras, or watching in the quad-camera display. You can also watch the recorded playback in this manner, even zooming into a section of the screen to get a close-up view. The cameras can continue to record, even during playback.
You won't have to stay on-site in order to keep an eye on your place. Install the included software and connect the DVR to your network, and you'll be able to access the security feed from any Internet-connected computer in the world, even controlling connected pan/tilt/zoom cameras and downloading files onto the remote PC. The DVD will send notifications to a designated e-mail address should such events as alarms, video loss, power loss, or HDD failure occur. You can even change settings to the DVR remotely.
Scan through the recorded video or search for a specific event by camera or time. You can even use the device to search through backup media.
The 16-Channel DVR w/320GB has several built-in security systems in place to protect your data. In addition to a changeable security code to prevent unauthorized web or direct access, the DVR will reboot automatically, retaining previous settings in the event of a power failure, automatically fixing and recovering files if the power failure or abnormal system operation corrupted any files. The DVR also checks temperature, automatically powering off if it's overheating.
