Essential Info

You don't need to be tied to a monitor to keep an eye on the events around your home or small business. By connecting four security cameras to a digital video recorder, you'll be able to maintain a visual record for immediate or future reference. You'll rest easier, thanks to the EchoVue 404 4-Channel DVR, an easy-to-use, standalone DVR that comes with a 160GB internal hard drive as well as space for a removable hard drive. Cameras are sold separately.

Flexible Recording System

Record from individual cameras or all four cameras at once on the EchoVue 404 4-Channel DVR. Schedule recording to begin at specific times to keep a daily or hourly record. You can also set the DVR to begin recording for a user-specified amount of time when it senses motion in any zone or when triggered by an alarm. This model features built-in pixel-based motion-activated recording.

Network-Ready DVR Sends E-Mail Alerts

Connect this network-ready DVR to your local area network, and it can send an e-mail alert after alarms, power outages or video outages. PC connection also allows easy programming as well as computer backup so you'll maintain a record without using up valuable hard drive space. You can also back up video clips onto USB 1.1-compliant memory sticks (sold separately).

Larger System Available

Want to keep an eye on more cameras? An 8-channel DVR is available to record surveillance videos from eight different cameras. If you're just getting started with surveillance, a kit is available that includes this DVR, a color monitor, and 4 color cameras. For maximum hard drive storage, the 4-Channel DVR is also available with a 400 GB hard drive.
