Essential Info
Don't run coax all over the place! It's too expensive and finicky, and it also attenuates the signal too much. Instead, use Cat5 wire for all your cable runs. Save time and money, because not only does Cat5 cost less, and you already have it on your truck, but you can also make one cable serve three functions: video, data, and power. This balun accepts video into the BNC connector, and power & data into the terminal block. Everything is fed into a standard RJ45 connector for connection to the Cat5. Note: Must be used in pairs, or use with 8-Port Video Balun Hub.
