With the new split-glass technology, you no longer have to worry about the reflection caused by some IR cameras. The lens placement is separate from the IR LEDs. Adding this camera to your home or business couldn't be easier: You can connect the camera to your TV, VCR or DVR in a matter of seconds. This camera comes standard with a female BNC connector, so if your TV, VCR or DVR does not support BNC, you may need to purchase an adapter, sold separately, to make the connection possible.

Hands-On Research:
I found this product to be very user friendly and very easy to install. I chose to mount the unit on a wall even though it's a dome camera. You can mount the unit on a ceiling or a wall, simply by rotating the center piece to the desired position and securing the screws. Don't worry about focusing the image before mounting the camera because the unit comes equipped with an external ring for easy setup even after the camera is installed.

42 High-Powered IR LEDs

This incredible camera comes equipped with 42 IR LEDs which provide an approximate maximum IR range of 75 feet. With the new split-glass technology, the camera will eliminate all IR reflection common among IR or night vision cameras. The IR LEDs are not only perfect for long-range day/night operation, but they are perfectly spaced apart allowing the best possible illumination.

External Adjustment for Focus and Zoom

This perfectly designed camera gives you the ability to change the focus externally after you've completed your installation. This is made possible with the two external varifocal adjustment rings. The built-in f=4-9mm varifocal lens gives you the ability to change the magnification of a scene. The most beneficial thing about this feature is the fact that once the camera is installed, you can change your viewing distances without having to take down and apart the unit itself.

Concealed Cable Mounting Bracket

With this new cable mounting bracket design, you have the opportunity to conceal your cables by running them through the durable aluminum housing. This ensures your complete protection of your wired setup. The housing protects your camera cables from the elements and almost guarantees that your wires cannot be cut by a vandal or a potential professional burglar. You can also mount the unit on a wall or a ceiling with the same included concealed cable mounting bracket.
