Are you looking for a heavy duty, outdoor rated surveillance camera that will capture color images from far away, even in the dark? The Long Range Day/Night Color Camera with External Controls is the perfect solution, and is ideal for monitoring your home or business. With a 1/3 Sony Super HAD CCD chip set, this camera is able to produce 540 TV lines of resolution, giving you the best picture possible for your surveillance system. The most amazing thing about this camera is the night vision. The camera does not come equipped with IR LED's; however, you can see at least 100 feet in pitch black conditions, making this the best possible choice in low-light conditions. Adding this camera to your home or business couldn't be easier: You can connect the camera to your TV, VCR or DVR in a matter of seconds. This camera comes standard with a female BNC connector, so if your TV, VCR or DVR does not support BNC, you will need to purchase a cable with an adapter to make the connection possible.
Hands-On Research:
When testing this product, I found that this is the camera you want to add to your surveillance system if you're looking for long range footage with very little light. This product is incredibly well built and is extremely easy to install, especially with the mounting bracket that gives you the option to mount to a wall or ceiling. My favorite thing about this camera is the concealed cable mounting bracket. It's amazing!

External Adjustment for Focus and ZoomThis perfectly designed camera gives you the ability to change the focus externally after you've completed your installation. This is made possible with the two external varifocal adjustment rings. The built-in f=5-50mm varifocal lens gives you the ability to change the magnification of a scene. The most beneficial thing about this feature is the fact that once the camera is installed, you can change your viewing distances without having to take down and apart the unit itself.
OSD Control (On Screen Display)On screen display is a visual menu of the options available for adjusting your camera's settings. This will appear on your monitor, TV or any other display you may be using for surveillance. Once your camera is all wired up and installed, you can activate the OSD by removing the lens cover and pressing any one of the 5 buttons. The buttons are Set-up, Up, Down, Left and Right. You have the ability to control the following features; lens (selection), shutter (condition and speed control), white balance control, backlight (backlight compensation), AGC (auto gain control), DNR (digital noise reduction), sense up (low illumination) and special (camera id, color, sync, motion detection, privacy, mirror, sharpness, reset, return and auto).
Concealed Cable Mounting BracketWith this new cable mounting bracket design, you have the opportunity to conceal your cables by running them through the durable aluminum housing. This ensures your complete protection of your wired setup. The housing protects your camera cables from the elements and almost guarantees that your wires cannot be cut by a vandal or a potential professional burglar. You can also mount the unit on a wall or a ceiling with the same included concealed cable mounting bracket.
Built-in HeaterThis camera comes equipped with a built-in heater to help prevent the lens from fogging up in cold weather climates. The camera has an internal thermometer that acts as the triggering device for the heater during cold weather situations.
