Record anything you desire with this ultra-mini quarter-sized color camera with a 4mm fixed board lens. This camera can be placed almost anywhere and not be seen. With 540 TV lines of resolution, this camera puts out amazing picture quality in color leaving no doubt that this is the future in mini cameras. With the 1/3 Sony Super HAD CCD lens comes an incredible image even in low-light conditions, thus making this a valuable night camera, as well. The on-board adjustment controls can provide custom settings in a matter of seconds, which will also help you get the good quality picture you're looking for.
Hands-On Research:
Testing this product was exciting because I've never seen a camera this small produce such a high-resolution image in color. It's amazing to see how crisp and clear the image is coming from a camera so small. It's very simple to set up and/or link to a VCR, DVR or monitor with the female BNC and the DC12V connectors attached to the camera. If left on for several hours, the camera may get a little warm (not hot), but this is normal when operating for long periods of time. Keep in mind when operating at night, the color may not be as accurate as it would be in brighter situations.

OSD ControlOSD means On-Screen Display, but do not confuse this with a screen being located on the actual camera itself. OSD is a feature that will allow you to bring up a list of video adjustment options on your TV or monitor that will be used to project your camera's image. This camera has a button located on the back of the unit that will act as a joystick once it's activated. You can activate the joystick by simply pushing the button in. The joystick works in all directions: up, down, left and right for your convenience.
Quarter-Sized The camera's being roughly the size of a quarter is a huge benefit because you have the opportunity to conceal your security device almost anywhere. Use this camera as a spy cam if need be. Even though the camera is considered a miniature camera, it can be used as your primary or main security source. It's that good!
Day/Night CapabilityThis camera does not come equipped with infrared lights, and it is not considered a camera with night vision. However, with the 1/3 Sony Super HAD chip set, this mini camera does provide a high-quality picture with very low light, as low as 0.5 Lux. The camera does not completely switch to black and white during low-light situations, but the color does change and is not as clear as in well-lit conditions.
