Essential Info
Send and receive IR remote commands throughout your home. This coax wall plate has a built-in IR signal splitter/injector that works with some video distribution modules that contain "IR Engines". It provides the ability to transmit and receive IR remote signals through the video coax distribution system without any extra wiring. The In-Wall Interface provides three jacks. One jack provides output to an IR emitter (single or double headed.) Another jack connects to a tabletop IR Target (# 7718WR). The coax jack connects to your local video gear (VCR, TV).

More Info
|
Place the IR receiver on top of your TV set in a remote room to remotely control an AV device located in another room. It "catches" the IR signals from your remote control and converts those signals into an electrical signal. The In-Wall Interface will inject the converted IR signals onto the same coax cable that carries your antenna, cable, and in-house modulated channels.
The In-Wall Interface is powered through the coax cable and is compatible with the following IR distribution products:
The entire unit fits in standard junction boxes and is designed to be trimmed out with a standard Decora style wall plate.
