If you use a Channel Plus 3 In x 8 Out Video Distribution Amp panel to send multiple video signals to various televisions in your home, you probably already appreciate that it includes an IR engine that will pass IR control signals over the coax cable between rooms or locations. Now you can expand the IR system to support up to 64 outputs (eight panels using outputs from the master panel) with the IR Coax Cable Panel Expansion Link. This IR expander passes the IR signals from the expansion panels to the main panel, so you'll be able to maintain control of your A/V devices in a single location from even more sites in your home or office. The Video Distribution Amp is sold separately.

Use the IR Coax Cable Panel Expansion Link when "daisy-chaining" your distribution panels. All of the broadband and modulated signals brought to the main panel are available at the expansion panel outputs with no signal loss.
Connect this IR coupler to the expansion panels using the supplied coax jumper.
