If you are looking for a solution that can combine your CATV signal and the modulated signal from your surveillance cameras and put them into a single cable for a long run, look no further. The Channel Vision Digital Cable and Modulator Combiner has everything you need to eliminate the need to run multiple RF/coaxial cables, sold separately, over a long distance. The combiner takes the CATV feed and modulated feed and combined them to a single RF coaxial output that can be run to the TV location of your choice. That cable can then be fed to the include IR receiver and then directly to your RF/Coaxial input. The IR receiver is the controlled with a the included remote control to switch between your CATV feed and your modulated feed. If you use a digital cable receiver, simply add a 2-way splitter, sold separately, after the IR receiver and send one signal to the ARF/Coaxial input on your TV and the other to the digital cable receiver; you won't even need a filter. This combiner is great way to simply cable runs throughout your home if you want to run a CATV and modulated feed to the same TV.

How It Works
For best results it will be necessary to use a 2-way splitter. The first feed goes directly to your RF/Coax input on your TV for your modulated source. The other feed goes to the RF/Coax cable input on your CATV receiver to feed the coax inputs on your CATV box and your TV set and then use the appropriate connection from you CATV receiver to the corresponding input on your TV (i.e. HDMI out to HDMI 1 input). Using the included remote control you can switch the modulator combiner between CATV and Modulator modes and then just put your TV on the corresponding input.
