The Medium Range PoE LED Infrared Illuminator from Ganz is designed to provide dedicated lighting for security cameras via Power over Ethernet (PoE). Most video cameras require at least the light of a full moon (1 lux) to see anything at night. Now you can extend the usefulness of your security cameras into total darkness with this IR Illuminator. The powerful LEDs discretely send infrared (IR) light up to 66 feet and the rugged aluminum housing pass the IP67 standard for weather resistance. The vandal-resistant all-weather light is designed to handle a variety of security applications and the efficient LED technology provides you with extremely low power consumption. In comparison to standard LED lighting, SMT (surface mount technology) LED lights are smaller in physical size and produce fewer unwanted effects. Like all LED lights, these provide a longer bulb life and 10 to 50 times greater energy efficiency. The PoE design allow you to run a single CAT5 Cable (sold separately) to power and operate this illuminator.
